MEB Consulting offers implementation services that can be tailored for each client. Every successful implementation involves the following five services.

Business Process Reengineering

  • As a starting point of an implementation, it is vital to clearly understand and document the current and future business processes of a company. Even though companies have conducted business process reengineering (BPR) before, it is recommended to continually review the process for efficiency improvements. This also provides a solid foundation for the implementation team to understand current business processes and for establishing future business processes to improve the company’s Return on Investment (ROI).

    Application Consulting

  • Based upon the business processes, MEBC provides two levels of support:
    1) Program Level
    This level of support assists the client with the following:
  • Developing the ROI for the project
  • Program management and project planning and mobilization.
  • Off-the-shelf software application selection
  • Implementation methodology.
    2) Implementation Level:
  • This level of support is responsible for conceptual design, requirements gathering, business scenario development, gap analysis, application configuration, integration design, testing, solution rollout and deployment, and ‘Go-Live’ support.
  • During this process, it is critical to interact with all project work streams and functional areas that affect, or are impacted by, the implementation. This ensures that configurations, decisions, and business processes are aligned to support the overarching client goals.

    System Consulting

  • System consultants/team members are necessary to support the Application Consulting team. Areas of focus include:
  • Evaluate client system architecture and provide recommendations toward improvements to current architecture.
  • Design migration plans for replacing systems.
  • Integrate off-the-shelf software applications with current or new systems.
  • Develop interfaces and customize tools to support the business process.

    Change Management

  • As implementation teams move toward attaining the new business processes and technologies, it is important to develop change management plans to communicate and manage client expectations. Implementing new business processes or technologies without the support of all levels within the organization is a difficult and often unsuccessful task.
  • Change management plans must identify any challenges the implementation team may encounter with the client’s resistance to change, and provide potential solutions so that the client’s team embraces the future processes and technology.

    Education and Training

  • As part of the change management process and implementation of new processes and technology, it is important for the client’s team to clearly understand the processes and technology. MEBC will either provide the education to the client’s team or partner with the client’s subject matter experts on the training. Either approach can occur in a classroom setting and/or one-on-one support. The goal is for the end users to feel comfortable with the processes and technology so that they can be successful in their job functions.
