MEBC has seasoned and experienced project managers who have managed complex JDA supply chain upgrades & implementations, large scale SAP data integration projects, and process improvement initiatives.
Our methodology is centered upon the Project Managements Institute’s Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), which we tailor to specific client requirements and needs. Our compliance with these standards ensures that each project is managed with due process and diligence. Our project managers have the supply chain and project management experience necessary to effectively manage cost, schedule, and solution quality.
MEBC works jointly with clients to create a solid foundation for all projects to adhere to. This includes creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and managing tasks and resources to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
Sample Qualifications
Our client, a regulated utility company, needed to engage a full time project manager to control all aspects of their Manugistics v7.2 implementation. The project manager was responsible for managing the client’s internal staff, other MEBC Consultants, JDA personnel, and several sub-contractors. The scope of the initiative was to replace the client’s legacy materials planning and forecasting solution with Manugistics v7.2 Demand, Fulfillment, Monitor, and Inventory Policy Optimization. Right sizing PMBOK standards to this scope required the creation of an effective project organization, comprehensive project plan, risk management plan, scope/change control plan and issue management process. All project deliverables were further governed by MEBC’s ISO 9001 Quality standards. The MEBC project manager delivered the solution on-time and under budget, while exceeding defined quality standards.
For a leading supplier of pallets and shipping containers with a significant presence in the US, Europe, and the Far East, MEBC led a project to deliver functional equivalency for the client user community from Manugistics 6.2 to Manugistics v7.2.2. As part of our role on this project, MEBC established and ran a project management office to provide structure to the project team; we led a set of sub-contractors, as well as a team of 15 core client personnel. During the course of MEBC’s work for this client, our project was selected for auditing by an outside firm. The audit reviewed various aspects of the project, including specifications-tracking, objectives, budget, time line, and quality control; MEBC received the highest rating possible for our project management.
Our client is a national defense organization based mainly in Washington DC, with some of the largest and most complex systems and processes in the world. The goal of this on-going project is to migrate and convert legacy data into the new SAP financial system. Working in a project management role with this client requires MEBC to be especially skilled at operating in a high-pressure, dynamic environment. MEBC’s project lead handles ERP Data Management, executing the data conversion plan throughout multiple test cycles and go-live phases. Along with managing the overall conversion project plan for each department, we are also responsible for handling issues that arise, bringing resolution by applying expertise based in five different locations around the country and overseeing daily triage meetings.
